KEUCO fittings and accessories are ideal for use in hospitals
Patients should feel at ease in their rooms during a hospital stay and their bathrooms should be safe and comfortable enough to meet their needs. At the same time, facilities and equipment are subjected to high loads due to their high frequency of use and regular cleaning. Thanks to a recently completed project, patients can now look forward to bathrooms fitted with KEUCO bathroom equipment that impresses with top “Made in Germany” workmanship. Even with frequent use and intensive cleaning, the surfaces of the fittings and accessories do not lose any of their perfect, flawless quality. They not only impress with their strong design, but also with their extraordinary durability.
Private health insurance
Bathrooms with private health insurance make a particularly strong impression. The fittings and accessories have been given an exclusive white powder coating by KEUCO. This emphasises the design concept's modern look and ensures a bright and friendly ambience.
The process used for the white coating on KEUCO fittings and accessories is based on high-quality powder lacquers, which involves the colour particles being baked at approx. 180°C after application. The powder coating is characterised by being particularly scratch-, impact- and abrasion-resistant. In addition, the surfaces are chemically resistant and provide very good corrosion protection for the coated parts. This makes the surfaces perfect for everyday hospital use and enables them to be cleaned professionally without any compromises.
The bathroom equipment and the selection of KEUCO products are similar to those found in a hotel bathroom. In addition to PLAN dispensers for soap and disinfectant, an iLook_move cosmetics mirror is available at the washbasin. Thanks to its five-fold magnification, it can also be used by patients with restricted vision. The flexible arm enables the position to be changed as needed – even when sitting. The chrome-plated IXMO mixer tap catches the eye in amongst the bright surroundings.
The toilet area is fully equipped with a PLAN toilet paper holder and spare roll holder, a generous waste bin and the toiletries bag dispenser. For patient safety, the bathroom is fitted with a white grab bar with a 90-degree bracket from the AXESS series, Design by Studio F. A. Porsche.
The economical PLAN BLUE shower mixer tap scores points with reduced water consumption. The AXESS, Design by Studio F. A. Porsche, railing system ensures safety in the shower area. If required, an additional seat can also be attached here. The shower basket holds all the patient’s belongings. The KEUCO slide bracket for hand showers is particularly easy to operate, enabling the height of the hand shower to be easily adjusted even with wet hands. PLAN hooks round off the fixtures and fittings.
Statutory crane insurance
In bathrooms for patients with statutory health insurance, aluminium-finish fittings and accessories are used. The satin smooth feel of the surface is particularly impressive on the PLAN Care grab bars for the toilet and shower. The aluminium finish is particularly easy to clean and minimises the effort for cleaning personnel. The PLAN shower curtain from KEUCO is antibacterial, fungicidal, showerproof and antistatic. For bathrooms with increased requirements, the PLAN shower curtain is available in either a “flame-retardant” or “washable at 60°” version.
