Brushed black chrome meets Prussian blue and white marble
In Berlin’s best location, overlooking the French Cathedral on the Gendarmenmarkt, Hotel Luc has opened its doors. In keeping with Prussian history, it was not only the name that was used, as the French philosopher Voltaire lovingly called his friend Friedrich II of Prussia “Luc”. The interior design of the Boutique Hotel, by interior architect Oana Rosen, also interprets the past with a contemporary style mix: Geometric clarity in elegant colours, with cosy interior and spacious marble bathrooms with KEUCO fittings, Accessories and cosmetic mirrors in brushed black chrome. The combination of black accents on the light walls is particularly powerful and elegant.
The total of 70 rooms and 22 suites all take up the concept of this linearity, paired with elegant elements and historical charm. At Boutique Hotel Luc, an elegant world opens up in deep Prussian blue and soft, natural colours in the sleeping and living areas. The bathrooms create a modern contrast in black and white. The surfaces of the fittings on the washbasin and in the shower, the illuminated cosmetic mirrors and the Accessories in black chrome are brushed using a PVD coating. This guarantees an extremely insensitive surface with a rich colour and a very high degree of hardness. This is particularly advantageous in hotels.
EDITION 400 fittings make a design statement at the washbasin. The rounded shape creates a beautiful image with the Top-mounted washbasin. A cosmetics mirror is always an important accessory in a hotel. The iLook_move cosmetic mirror from KEUCO proves itself thanks to its solid wall mounting set and hinge technology. Thanks to illumination and five times magnification, small defects don't go undetected.
Guests are offered an experience in the showers with IXMO mixer fittings. Thanks to innovative KEUCO technology, the mixer taps in a minimalist design can combine several functions in the smallest of spaces. You can choose between a large head or round pencil hand shower using the 2-way shut-off and diverter valve. The fitting element also contains the hose connection and hand shower bracket. The water temperature and volume can be controlled using the single-lever mixer. The PLAN shower basket also has a matching brushed black chrome finish and offers space for care products.
IXMO fittings with square rosettes were also used on the spacious bath tub. The black-and-white design also provides a stylish image here.
In the toilet area, the EDITION 400 toilet paper holder and brush set prove themselves to be everyday heroes. Even the sanitary bag dispenser and the spare roll holder in brushed black chrome fit perfectly into the bathroom design.
