What requirements will serviced apartments have to meet tomorrow?
Feeling at home when travelling: A fully furnished and fully equipped with everyday utilities, a Serviced Apartment is available for short, medium and longer stays in many cities. Customers can move in directly with their suitcases and stay for several months. With the stated goal of already understanding the needs of tomorrow’s travellers today, the project team of Apartmentservice, JOI-Design, G&S Planwerk GmbH and iHaus has implemented exemplary apartments for various target groups.
The Apartment.Base 4.0 project involves exhibition-like marketing for all forms of micro-living. These can be viewed in an impressive exhibition space in Unna near Dortmund. Various housing visions for student housing, micro-apartments and alternative serviced apartments are multifunctionally, efficiently and flexibly equipped and show what sensible room division can look like.
At the heart of the exhibition are the two “apartments of the future”, which are designed to make living in a foreign city comfortable for a while with smart features, strong design products and technical refinements. With its comprehensive product portfolio, KEUCO offers individual solutions for creative and demanding bathroom planning and perfectly complemented the project as a strong partner in the bathroom. The KEUCO range includes fittings, Accessories, mirror cabinets and light mirrors, washbasins and bathroom furniture with a variety of materials, surfaces and designs for every taste and budget - whether for business travellers or student apartments.
The aim of the initiators is to serve synergies of suppliers, developers and investors of micro-apartments in the joint platform. It is important to develop a pioneering concept that takes into account the requirements and wishes of guests in this segment. Investors and potential operators should be able to enter this emerging market segment more easily - they can benefit from the extensive industry knowledge of those involved in the project.
Last but not least, the apartment is also intended to serve as a platform and exhibition space for companies that have made a positive impression on the project partners thanks to their innovative interior and pioneering technology.
