Information on data transfer to the USA and other third countries
Among other things, we use tools from companies based in the USA or other third countries that are not secure under data protection laws. If these tools are active, your personal data may be transferred to and processed in these third countries. We would like to point out that a level of data protection comparable to that of the EU cannot be guaranteed in these countries. For example, U.S. companies are required to disclose personal data to security authorities without you as a data subject being able to take legal action against it. Therefore, it cannot be ruled out that US authorities (e.g. intelligence services) will process, evaluate and permanently store your data on US servers for monitoring purposes. We have no influence over these processing activities.
Withdrawal of your consent to data processing
Many data processing operations are only possible with your express consent. You can revoke your consent at any time. The lawfulness of the data processing carried out up to the time of revocation remains unaffected by the revocation.
Right to object to data collection in special cases and to direct marketing (Art. 21 GDPR)
If data processing is carried out on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 litre. E or F GDPR, you have the right to object to the processing of your personal data at any time for reasons arising from your particular situation; this also applies to profiling based on these provisions. The respective legal basis on which processing is based can be found in this privacy policy. If you file an objection, we will no longer process your personal data unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing which override your interests, rights and freedoms or the processing serves the assertion, exercise or defence of legal claims (objection pursuant to Art. 21 para. 1 GDPR).
If your personal data is processed for the purpose of direct marketing, you have the right to object at any time to the processing of personal data concerning you for the purpose of such marketing; this also applies to profiling insofar as it is related to such direct marketing. If you object, your personal data will then no longer be used for direct marketing purposes (objection pursuant to Art. 21 para. 2 GDPR).
Right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority
In the event of infringements of the GDPR, data subjects have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular in the Member State of their habitual residence, place of work or place of the alleged infringement. The right of appeal is without prejudice to any other administrative or judicial remedy.
Right to data portability
You have the right to have data that we process automatically on the basis of your consent or in the performance of a contract handed over to yourself or to a third party in a commonly used, machine-readable format. If you request the direct transfer of the data to another controller, this will only take place to the extent that it is technically feasible.
Information, rectification and deletion
Within the framework of the applicable legal provisions, you have the right to information free of charge about your stored personal data, its origin and recipients and the purpose of data processing and, if necessary, a right to rectification or deletion of this data. You can contact us at any time for this purpose and for further questions on the subject of personal data.
Right to restriction of processing
You have the right to request restriction of the processing of your personal data. Please do not hesitate to contact us. The right to restriction of processing exists in the following cases:
- If you dispute the accuracy of your personal data held by us, we usually need time to verify this. For the duration of the examination, you have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data.
- If the processing of your personal data was/is unlawful, you can request the restriction of data processing instead of deletion.
- If we no longer need your personal data, but you need it to exercise, defend or assert legal claims, you have the right to request restriction of the processing of your personal data instead of deletion.
- If you file an objection pursuant to Art. 21 para. 1 GDPR, a balance must be made between your and our interests. As long as it has not yet been fixed whose interests prevail, you have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data.
If you have restricted the processing of your personal data, these data - apart from their storage - may only be processed with your consent or for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims or for the protection of the rights of another natural or legal person or for reasons of important public interest of the European Union or a Member State.
SSL or TLS encryption
This site uses SSL or TLS encryption for security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as orders or requests that you send to us as the site operator. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the fact that the address line of the browser changes from “http://” to “https://” and by the padlock symbol in your browser line.
If SSL or TLS encryption is activated, the data you send to us cannot be read by third parties.
Encrypted payments on this website
If there is an obligation to provide us with your payment data (e.g. account number for direct debit authorization) after concluding a chargeable contract, this data is required for payment processing.
Payment transactions via the usual means of payment (Visa/MasterCard, direct debit) take place exclusively via an encrypted SSL or TLS connection. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the fact that the address line of the browser changes from “http://” to “https://” and by the padlock symbol in your browser line.
In the case of encrypted communication, your payment data that you send to us cannot be read by third parties.
Opt-out of promotional emails
The use of contact data published as part of the legal notice obligation for the transmission of advertising and information materials not expressly requested is hereby objected to. The operators of the websites expressly reserve the right to take legal action in the event of the unsolicited sending of advertising information, for example through spam emails.
4. Data collection on this website
Cookie information
Our website uses so-called “cookies”. Cookies are small data packets and do not damage your end device. They are stored either temporarily for the duration of a session (session cookies) or permanently (permanent cookies) on your end device. Session cookies are automatically deleted at the end of your visit. Permanent cookies remain stored on your end device until you delete them yourself or until they are automatically deleted by your web browser.
Cookies can come from us (first-party cookies) or from third-party companies (so-called third-party cookies). Third-party cookies enable the integration of certain services from third-party companies within websites (e.g. cookies for processing payment services).
Cookies have different functions. Numerous cookies are technically necessary, as certain website functions would not work without them (e.g. the shopping cart function or the display of videos). Other cookies may be used to evaluate user behaviour or for advertising purposes.
Cookies that are necessary to carry out the electronic communication process, to provide certain functions requested by you (e.g. for the shopping cart function) or to optimise the website (e.g. cookies for measuring the web audience) (necessary cookies) are set on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 litre. f GDPR, unless another legal basis is specified. The website operator has a legitimate interest in storing cookies that are necessary for the technically error-free and optimised provision of its services. If consent to the storage of cookies and comparable recognition technologies has been requested, processing takes place exclusively on the basis of this consent (Art. 6 para. 1 litre. a GDPR and Section 25 para. 1 TTDSG); consent can be revoked at any time.
You can set your browser so that you are informed about the setting of cookies and only allow cookies in individual cases, exclude the acceptance of cookies for certain cases or in general, and activate the automatic deletion of cookies when closing the browser. If cookies are deactivated, the functionality of this website may be limited.
You can find out which cookies and services are used on this website in this privacy policy.
CCM19
Our website uses CCM19 to obtain your consent to the storage of certain cookies on your end device or to the use of certain technologies and to document this in accordance with data protection regulations. The provider of this technology is Papoo Software & Media GmbH, Auguststr. 4, 53229 Bonn (hereinafter “CCM19”).
When you access our website, a connection is established to CCM19’s servers to obtain your consent and other declarations regarding the use of cookies. CCM19 then stores a cookie in your browser in order to be able to assign the consents given or their withdrawal to you. The data collected in this way is stored until you ask us to delete it, delete the CCM19 cookie yourself or the purpose for data storage ceases to apply. Mandatory statutory retention obligations remain unaffected.
CCM19 is used to obtain the legally required consents for the use of cookies. The legal basis for this is Art. 6 para. 1 S. 1 lit. c GDPR.
Processing of orders
We have concluded a data processing agreement (DPA) for the use of the above service. This is a contract required by data protection law, which ensures that it processes the personal data of our website visitors only in accordance with our instructions and in compliance with the GDPR.

The provider of the pages automatically collects and saves information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us. These are:
- Browser type and version

- Referrer URL
- Hostname of the accessing computer
- Time of server request
- IP-addresses
This data will not be merged with other data sources.
This data is collected on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 letter f GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the technically error-free presentation and optimisation of its website - the server log files must be recorded for this purpose.
Contact forms
If you send us enquiries via the contact form, your details from the enquiry form, including the contact details you provide there, will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the enquiry and in the event of follow-up questions. We do not pass on this data without your consent.
This data is processed on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 litre. b GDPR, insofar as your request is related to the performance of a contract or is necessary for the implementation of pre-contractual measures. In all other cases, the processing is based on our legitimate interest in the effective processing of enquiries addressed to us (Art. 6 para. 1 litre. f GDPR) or on your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 litre. a GDPR) if this has been requested; consent can be revoked at any time.
The data you enter in the contact form will remain with us until you request deletion, revoke your consent to storage or the purpose for data storage ceases to apply (e.g. after your request has been processed). Mandatory statutory provisions - in particular retention periods - remain unaffected.
Request by email, telephone or fax
If you contact us by e-mail, telephone or fax, your request, including all resulting personal data (name, request), will be stored and processed by us for the purpose of processing your request.
The data you send us via contact requests will remain with us until you request deletion, withdraw your consent to storage or the purpose for data storage ceases to apply (e.g. after your request has been processed). On behalf of the operator of this website, Adobe will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity and to provide other services associated with website and Internet use to the website operator.
The use of this service is based on your consent pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 litre. a GDPR and Section 25 para. 1 TTDSG. Consent can be revoked at any time.

You can deactivate Adobe Target on this website by opting out here: http://www.adobe.com/de/privacy/opt-out.html or you can object to the use of cookies by adjusting your browser settings.

LinkedIn Insight Tag
This website uses the LinkedIn Insight tag. The provider of this service is LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company, Wilton Plaza, Wilton Place, Dublin 2, Ireland.
Data processing by LinkedIn Insight Tag
With the help of the LinkedIn Insight Tag, we receive information about visitors to our website. If a website visitor is registered with LinkedIn, we can, among other things, analyse the professional key data (e.g. career level, company size, country, location, industry and job title) of our website visitors and thus better target our page to the respective target groups. We can also use LinkedIn Insight Tags to measure whether visitors to our websites make a purchase or perform another action (conversion measurement). The conversion measurement can also be carried out across devices (e.g. from PC to tablet). LinkedIn Insight Tag also offers a retargeting function with the help of which we can display targeted advertising to visitors to our website outside the website, whereby, according to LinkedIn, no identification of the advertiser takes place.
LinkedIn itself also collects so-called log files (URL, referrer URL, IP address, device and browser properties and time of access). The IP addresses are shortened or (if used to reach LinkedIn members across devices) hashed (pseudonymized). The direct identifiers of LinkedIn members will be deleted by LinkedIn after seven days. The remaining pseudonymized data will then be deleted within 180 days.
The data collected by LinkedIn cannot be assigned to specific individuals by us as the website operator. LinkedIn stores the personal data collected from website visitors on its servers in the USA and uses it for its own advertising measures. Details can be found in LinkedIn’s privacy policy at https://www.linkedin.com/legal/privacy-policy#choices-oblig.
